The beauty of southern Nevada is astounding, visitors and residents alike frequent the areas mulitude of parks and natural preserves. Here we have documentented some of the fun you can have in our natural suroundings.

  Mt. Charleston

Home of the bristle cone pine tree. There are many things to do on the mountian. There are hiking trails , a ski and snowboard area, and histroic sites to see.

  Red Rock

The 13 mile loop allows one the oppurtunity to view from the car, bike or park and hike one of several different trails. The first three stops are in the calico hills which is made up of several different types and colors of sandstone, eroded by wind and rain. Later in the loop there are also a few waterfalls that can bee seen through out most of the year.

  Lake Mead

A local favorite for fishing or cooling off from the summer sun. this is now a US fee area.

  Grand Canyon

Incredible views, there is a hotel and restruants. For those who just as well off with viewing from a distance there are many differnt plane services available that fly over the canyon several times a day.

  Hover Dam

The tour is well worth the money. It is incredible to see the size and detail of everything involved in this project. The entire area is full of interesting historical displays

  The Strip

Just walking up and down the strip is an adventure in itself. If you time your walk right you can catch the Beligio water show, the Mirage volcano , and the Tresure Island show. Walk a little further and check out the lights at the mall.
